Where did January go?

Submitted by Georgia on Sun, 01/29/2012 - 3:49pm

Oh my goodness it will soon be time to be back out on the road again. Where did January go? I am now well rested and after a month off I am now getting back into my pre tour workout and eating mode. I spent most of January at home with my family and went on long walks, watched movies and basically allowed by mind and body some downtime. Just love Bridesmaids and have watched it so many times. I also spent some of my time helping out at the soup kitchen downtown. My task was making the sandwiches and there were over 350 people to feed.

Happy New Year

Submitted by Georgia on Mon, 01/02/2012 - 3:32pm

Sorry it's late but it has been crazy since Dec 31st. My flight home was diverted so I came into San Antonio airport instead of connecting in Houston and then onto Austin. Lucky my Mum and Dad were happy to drive to get me wherever I landed. So arrived home minus my bag of course which decided to take the scenic route home. Good news though, it did arrive home too. So finally got home for New Years Eve with an hour of sleep in 24 and time to celebrate. We went to a wonderful restaurant in downtown Austin and welcomed in the NEW year with my family.

Hello everyone! I cannot believe It's Christmas in just a couple of days! I LOVE this time of the year especially in New York which is where I'll be with my family and friends! Thank you all for being so supportive this year....what a great year! Time flies so fast when you're having fun! This past week has been very busy with double shows on all days, which I actually find SO FUN! I did most of my Christmas shopping in New York and ate at Whole Foods 3 times in 2 days hahahaha! I'm slightly obsessed.

Hello everyone!
First I just want to say a BIG thank you to each and every one of you for all the beautiful support you've been giving me. This winter tour has been going so well and it's been so nice to see some familiar faces again and meet new ones too!
What have I been up to recently? Well We have been on the road now for about 3 weeks and it's AWESOME! Such great crowds so far and I'm really starting to feel the Christmas spirit. Obviously I've been staying healthy, eating well, working out… all that good stuff just to ensure I don't get sick. Knock on wood.

Back in the US, Back in the USA.

Submitted by Georgia on Tue, 04/12/2011 - 10:50am

I loved the new experience of European touring but it sure feels nice to be back in the USA. You can find great gyms close by to the hotel, where the bus stops or venues. Starbucks on EVERY corner and i don't have to read labels in foreign languages. I do speak Spanish but that was not on our Euro trip this year but sure would be nice to go visit and sing there next time around. I lived in Spain for 3 years and sometimes miss the way of life we had there but right now in my life America has it all. Everything here is just SO easy and available, Gluten Free, Fat free, Organic etc.

Apollo 2011 we have lift off

Submitted by Georgia on Thu, 03/31/2011 - 7:47pm

The tour around Europe was beyond my wildest dreams. I loved seeing the sites and meeting the fans. Switzerland was beautiful and the architecture in Germany was amazing. Belgium had great shops, no chocolate though and I loved all the bicycles and canals in Amsterdam. However without any doubt the icing on my cake was playing in my home town of London. It was just a dream come true to spend a few days in London visiting with my family and friends, some of whom i hadn't seen for quite a number of years.
