All systems go for a party

It was my Mum's 50th birthday and she organized a caribbean themed party on October 24th. Her best friend Tracie is arriving from England with her 2 kids and also my brother Joe is coming back for the weekend from college. I love family and parties the 2 go so well together. I cant believe what my Dad has just told me, he has arranged to fly my Mum's Dad and Step Mum into Austin and we are going to pick them up at the airport tonight, wow my Mum is going to be so happy and surprised. Have to go but back soon to let you know all about it...................

Ok so this was the plan, my Dad and I went out special shopping for Mum's birthday so we knew she wouldn't come with us. When we got back we called her into the kitchen to look at something and her Dad and Step Mum were sitting in the kitchen. The look of shock on her face was just incredible, and then there were tears of joy. The best present ever for her and she so deserved it.

Party was amazing, good food, great music and i got to sing some songs for my Mum and everyone had such a good time. It was so nice to see my brother Joe and he had such fun. Oh and during all this fun and excitement i had to sit my Taks test 4 days running at 8am each morning....... yuk, just hope i passed them as the history and the science i have not studied for 2 years now. Now Algebra 2 is done i am onto my physics and finishing off my English so i can sit my exam. Time in my life to play but also have to make time to study..............that is until i graduate with flying colors then following my dream of singing to the top, hopefully!!!!

Everyone gone home now and the house is quiet with just the 3 of us left, but there is a ton of housework to do............... yipeee!!!!
