The Emerging 14-year-old Star Will Sing Her Award-Winning Song 'Take Me As I Am' as Part of Her Set at the Charity Event Being Held in London
AUSTIN, Texas -- Georgia Napolitano, originally from London, England, who is rapidly making her mark as an up-and-coming performer in the USA, will take the stage at the Bluefish hosted David Beckham Academy Corporate Cup After Party on December 14 as the opening act for soul music legend Jocelyn Brown.
Among the songs that Georgia will perform is "Take Me As I Am," an original score that she recorded as part of the prize of a pop idol competition in southern Spain. Napolitano placed first in that competition, beating 300 contestants.
But the real winner, she said, was the Cancer charity (Cudeca), which benefited financially from the event.
"That's another wonderful aspect of the London event," she said. "David Beckham Academy is all about helping kids that are less fortunate."
Proceeds from the event, will benefit the David Beckham Scholarship program and David's chosen charity The Shine Foundation.
