I found out I had two song choices for the final of fame in LA on September 5th. I chose the theme song of FAME "I'm Gunna Life Forever" because the words were so true to me. However the instrumental track that was sent over had no backing vocals so I'm gunna have to be creative. I have made copies of the track and put it everywhere, the car, the kitchen, my room, my ipod. I AM GOING TO PRACTICE LIKE CRAZY!
It's been a couple of days now and I had worked out a fun plan for the song..... I think everyone will be a little bit surprised. :)
September 2nd!!
Today is an important day! We leave for LA tomorrow so I am working on some finishing touches and then i'm going to pick up my BEAUTIFUL dress! I cant wait to see everything put together I am so so so excited and it's becoming very hard for me to sleep! I called John my amazing producer and asked him what he thought..... I LOVE HIM! Haha! He made me feel very confident and gave me lots of pointers that helped SO much! I also asked Miss Donna to come over for some more tips so thank you very much for that.. I love you!
The time until we get on our plane is getting so close and I'm starting to feel like I've drank 50 redbulls hahahaha! But I didn't I PROMISE.

September 3rd
Wow!
I can honestly say I had the weekend of my life. Full of singing, performing, meeting new people, meeting idols *Ciara & the Fame Cast*, family and friends. Where to start... Gosh... OKay sooooo we landed in LA and one of those people with the signs had my name written on theirs haha (that was a first) so we walked to this amazing cadillac escalade and made our way to the hotel. There was SO much traffic but we watched a movie and finally got to the Hyatt hotel in Valencia, Cali. It was gorgeous there.. I loved it! We met up with the best organizer ever, Brittney, and figured out the plan. That night we took it easy and rested up for the next day. Rehearsals.
I woke up nice and early on Friday morning (The day before the final) and had STEEL CUT OATMEAL for breakfast :) my favorite! I got ready for the day and then met up with all the other finalists. It was so nice meeting every single person and getting to know more about their talent and things they had done. We made our way to Six Flags Magic Mountain for the run through of the show. It went really well... I had a great time watching everyone perform and got a chance to get a feel for the stage and how everything was going to be set up for the BIG SHOW! After rehearsal we headed back to the hotel to get ready for the Finalists Dinner. We went to a lovely Italian restaurant and got to mingle some more :)
While me & Mum were at the dinner my dad and Paul went to the airport to pick up Joe (my brother). Also that night Robby and Jess (best friends) were heading to the hotel so I couldn't really sit still at dinner I was so anxious to see everyone xxx
We all had a blast Friday night but I made sure to get a good nights sleep for my big day... sleeping was as easy as I thought haha.
September 5th
SHOW TIME!!! I woke up early again and guess what I had for breakfast..........STEEL CUT OATMEAL :) hahaha! I was so ready for the day and just wanted to get going. I got everything ready and then all the finalists got in a rather unique looking bus type thing and headed back to the Six Flags park. There was a lot going on when we got there, Make-up & hair artists were there, photographers, people doing interviews, It was amazing. After about an hour the whole cast from "FAME" (The new movie coming out Sept. 25th) showed a up and we all had a meet-and-greet. Everyone was so nice and welcoming and we had a good time talking and getting to know each other. I then went upstairs to the dressing room to get my hair and make-up done and then it was time to put on my dress! Once everything was finished I felt so beautiful! Thank you mum & dad for the dress and thank you to the hair and make-up artists from SEPHORA. I was READY TO GO! The show started but I was the last one to go on so I had a lot of time to spare and let my nerves catch up to me haha! I got a chance to meet and talk with V-Factory (A new boy-band) which was fun and then I made my way downstairs to get ready to go on stage. The act before me had just finished and I knew it was my time to go out there and live my dream. The host of the show said "Please put your hands together for Georgia Napolitano" that was my cue. I walked out on stage with a HUGE smile on my face and the music started. I couldn't have been more happy with my performance, I got so into it and most importantly had the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE! My song ended and there was nothing but a Gigantic smile on my face as I stood there and waited to hear what the judges had to say. I got to perform in front of Ciara, the director of the movie FAME and the host of E! News. Such a privilege. CraigLewis were crowned the winners and I couldn't have been more happy for them, they were so talented and really deserved it so CONGRATS GUYS!
After the show we got to talk with everyone and that meant so much to me. Thank you everyone for the lovely comments. Dreams came true.
I can't express in words how thankful I feel at this very moment. I would like to thank everyone that created this opportunity for me, it has all meant so much.
