Loving LA!

Well Hello Everyone! LA is by far a lot different than Austin, Texas but I really love it here (APART from all the traffic). Mum and I were on our way back from my vocal lesson with Dave Stroud (which went amazingly!) and of course WE GOT LOST. We decided to keep our eyes open for the "HOLLYWOOD" sign just incase we could get a few photos of it. All of a sudden out of our car window we spotted it in the distance up on the hills so we started to head over towards it. After about 10 minutes of driving we found ourselves practically in peoples tiny driveways, up a hill, LOST & could only see the Hollywood sign through telephone poles and trees. I did my best to take pictures of it but couldn't get a good photo at all. We started to drive back towards the main road and when we finally got there we turned onto a big street, looked left and saw a PERFECT view of the sign... NOTHING IN THE WAY. We both couldn't stop laughing .....after ALL that hard work. Hahahaha! By this time we were both so hungry so we decided to stop and get our first In-N-Out Burger!! Absolutely delicious! Just the other day I had a vocal lesson with another SLS (Speech Level Singing) teacher Rachael Lawrence. It was so lovely to meet her, she is the vocal coach for GLEE. :)
My dad is here with my mum and I now which is lovely. We miss him a lot while we are all apart but we have already shared so really fun moments here. Yesterday we went to The Ivy in West Hollywood which was a great experience and we all really want to go back! He is only here till Tuesday so we will HAVE to continue to do fun things. Tomorrow we are going to Santa Monica for a meeting and a walk down Rodeo Drive... I CANT WAIT!
